[London, UK] Two time Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth medalist sprinter, Asha Philip, and Deji Akande, CEO of Gateway Sports & Entertainment have launched a new global athlete community and advisory service - The Athlete Gateway (TAG).

Built to help professional athletes navigate their careers, The Athlete Gateway will provide expertise, insights, resources and events all with a clear vision to help athletes and the communities that support them maximise their potential within & beyond sport.

Asha Philip, Co-Founder of The Athlete Gateway shared: “As a professional athlete for 12+ years I know first hand how hard it is to navigate a career as an athlete - so to create a platform like this was always so close to my heart. I believe The Athlete Gateway, can fill the huge need for athletes and their various stakeholders to be better equipped to navigate their journeys.”

Deji Akande, Co-Founder also added: 

“Creating this community is about helping athletes make the best decisions for their present & future. 

Equally we want to help the the wider community who live and breathe athletes to be supported too. Whether that’s a brand, a federation or another group - TAG will be a resource for them to help serve the athletes in their community better. When this happens everyone wins!”
